Intermodal Compatibility:
Our fleet of standard and high cube refrigerated containers are designed to be fully intermodal, on sea (above or under deck) and on land (road or rail) throughout the world. The ease of handling of boxes between different modes of transport helps to lessen transit time due to fast loading, unloading and checking at the ports, helping to improve the overall efficiency in operation whilst minimizing overall transportation costs.
SECURITY:
All our refrigerated containers are designed with an in-built locking system. The mechanism uses steel bars and a ‘cam and lock system’ to fasten the doors and keep them securely closed and these should be utilized every time the container is left unattended.

Our refrigerated containers are equipped with high performance energy efficient machinery, optimising the stable temperature-controlled environment during transportation, to ensure the quality in the delivery of perishable cargo. The average life-span of a reefer is approximately 25 years. The initial 10-12 years, the reefer is used in the shipping and transport industry, and the units will undergo a number of repair and maintenance during its lease-term. Subject to the end of shipping life condition, a reefer can be sold-on, and have extended life and purpose either for further transportation us and chilled, frozen or cooled portable storage.
