GLENN ISOLA

Marketing Director

I’m excited at the opportunities in Africa.  I am passionate about helping people, companies and communities realize their full potential whilst improving the world we live in. Through innovative cost effective container solutions, we add value to our business partners and the communities they serve.

Glenn started his career as a Marine Engineering cadet with Safmarine in 1985, studying through CPUT in Cape Town.  After spending 7 years at sea and qualifying as a Marine Engineer, his training and experience included marine diesel and steam engines, fuel purification, refrigeration, fluid dynamics, Naval Architecture, Fresh water generation, sanitation, electrics and strengths of materials.

Glenn ran a Construction Company with his brother and a team of 8 staff for 10 years before joining Grindrod in June 2001, as the agent for GE Seaco with offices in Cape Town.

Glenn has completed a Diploma in Business Management in 2004 at Varsity College and with the termination of the agency agreement in 2005, Glenn continued to work for GE Seaco as an agent and finally Seaco as a full time employee in 2014.

Glenn’s role as Regional Manager for Africa is a hybrid role that includes container leasing, container sales and operations  which offers the client a single point of contact with Seaco.

Glenn is a father of two and has been married for 23 years.  He enjoys spending time with the family and friends doing any activity on or in the sea and only occasionally strays away with the family to the Bushveld on holidays.
